Rate Increase

On August 1, 2017 a letter from the GFCWD Board of Directors was mailed to customers giving notification of a public hearing regarding proposed increase in water rates held on October 11, 2017.  

Persuant to Proposition 218, the Board of Directors approved the proposed water rate increase at the November 3, 2017 meeting.  

Water Rates as of February 1, 2018

1. District Customer - Single Occupancy
   • Bi-Monthly Billed on Odd Numbered Months 
   • Base Rate for 2,500 CF of Water: $100.00
   • Over Base Rate for each additional 1,000 CF of water:  $21.50
2. District Customer - Multiple Occupancy
   • Bi-Monthly Billed on Odd Numbered Months 
   • Base Rate x's the number of residence(s) on a single property
3. Out-of District Customers
   • Bi-Monthly Billed on Odd Numbered Months 
   • Base Rate for 2,500 CF of Water: $125
   • Over Base Rate for each additional 1,000 CF of water:  $35.50
